| i think they would be safe, ADF have very bad vision and ghosties are pretty quick. i have a single ghost shrimp that has lived in my 29g with 2 ADF for over 6months with no issues. |

| Hmmmm, not sure you can try.
The shrimp wouldn't hurt the frog but if the frog senses food, it might lunge at the shrimp. 2.5g's doesn't give much places for the shrimp to hide. |

| The shrimp would be doomed in the 2.5 - there's just nowhere to hide and the entire tank is within the frogs reach. Their eyesight is poor, but they have other senses that serves them well. |

| I'd have to agree with Jaysee. It'd be very risky to fit both of them in such a small tank. What about getting a 5g or 10g? That way, you'll have enough space to also put some plants and rocks as hiding spots.
Good luck and keep us updated! |

Good thing they don't have teeth! |

| worst case scenario is the ADF will eat the ghost shrimp, in which you have a very satisfied froggie lol, i dont see the harm in trying it out. i still think if throw in a few plants the ADF wont bother the shrimp. |

| hm, what if i put in the ghost shrimp first and then the frog few days later? would that make any difference? i don't want any lives claimed because of me... if it really doesn't work out, i'll stick with one or the other, not both ^^ |

| Its up to you, as the others are saying (and everyone here has great advice)....
I have 2 ADFs, and I was going to get ghost shrimp, but I have zebra danios, and their known shrimp eaters.... If you get really small hiding points, the shrimp might be able to hide.... That might help, and to keep your frogs in safe, they'd have to be very small, so the shrimp go in, and the frogs can't, as we don't want the frogs to get stuck and drown... It really is one of those iffy situations.... it all depends on the frog's personality... shrimp are cheap, but i don't want to risk them just because their shrimps, you know what i mean.... i know it doesn't help, but really, its all about trying to see... the other day at my LPS, i say some ghost shrimp floating/ swimming, so that kinds of cool, mi didn't think they could move like that, which may help.....
good luck
edit, oh yeah.... cause their are no fish, that means the frogs don't have to compete for food, which might mean they could stay full and not eat your shrimp..... Last edited by Betafish305ca; November 19th, 2009 at 10:58 PM.

Ghost shrimp have one primary purpose and that is to be eaten. Sure they are fun to watch and help clean up the tank, but in the end they're always eaten. |

| If they don't get eaten right away, they will always be hiding, instead of coming out and cleaning up the tank.
It probably won't be the happiest shrimp if it has to hide all the time instead of foraging. |
