cycled tank!!

Well guys, my 10g tank finally cycled a couple days ago, so I will be able to purchase two Dwarf puffers on Sunday as long as my plants come through the mail between now and then I have this ugly aquarium decoration from my old tank that I used to help seed my new one, now that the new tank is cycled can i get rid of this eyesore? Or should I wait a while?

Thanks in advance,
Jess

I would wait a while to make sure you have as much surface area for bacteria as possible especially as dwarf puffers are sensitive fish (or so I have read). Better safe than sorry!!

when you use something established to cycle another tank, you are suppose to move the fish with it..its like an instant cycle..it needs to fish for the ammonia source ...have you been giving it some other type of source if you havent put fish in there?

Thanks guys, I'll leave it in for a couple more weeks. Shawnie, I have been supplying the tank with ammonia via a piece of shrimp.

I promise to show pics! I think I have a pretty nice tank, and I managed to do it on a college budget too!
