high iron is water out of tap

Hey all its been a while since i posted.. I just recently bought a new house so I am starting the moving process. I got my water tested the other day and my iron in the water is really high. Lets say that iron will start to leave stains at .3ppm.. mine is .78. My question is will that have an effect on my fish at all? Cause i can wait till I get my water system that I know I will need to move them. Thanks for all the help.

Well some test kits remove stuff like that. I don't think ti would really be a big problem.

yea I just was wondering cause I really dont want to lose my 4 pictus catfish that are almost 4 inch long. not to mention the firemouth that has been through alot as it is. but if more people say it should be ok I might try and start moving them today.
