Algae on my Nerite snail

I have this fuzzy brownish-rust colored algae growing on my snail (& obviously in my tank too) - is this harmful for the little guy/gal?

Couldn't imagine any form of algae being harmful to the snail, especially on it's shell, but I'm no expert. Hopefully some one more knowledgeable will chime in.

I do have two nerites. It's funny because they do indeed clean each other's shell off..lol..You can also just wipe his shell yourself if it bugs you. Just be gentle.

My mystery snail would eat the stuff off my nerite snail. It was funny look b/c the nerite snail would disappear under the mystery snail. lol Anyways nothing really to worry about.
