any 'great lakes' themed tanks?

Does anyone here have a "great lakes" themed fish tank?

What exactly do you mean?
Fish from the Great Lakes? Plants?

I think he means a Great Lakes Biotype - in which case I don't know of anyone with such a tank. Sounds like an interesting tank though!

Well, it depends. I have a tank full of potamogetons and bluegill. The exception being two random red zebra mbuna in my tank.

Thank everyone for your replies...
I was thinking of a great lake themed fish tank in terms of aquatic life (mostly fish and mussels/ clams) from the 5 great lakes - mostly found in erie, since thats where I live.

I live in Indiana and have a 120g tank I am thinking about setting up with native fish. These would be native to the great lakes also. I am thinking about a few bluegill, sunfish, largemouth bass, and some small bullhead (yellowbelly) catfish. I would like to get some crawfish but I had some years ago and could never keep them in the tank.

Sorry not yet. It is still in the garage. We have decided to remodel the room it will go in before I set it up. It will probably be after the first of the year. Problem is around here it will be so cold I don't know if I will be able to catch any small fish to put in. I am thinking bluegill, pumpkin seed sunfish, bullhead (yellow belly), a bass, and maybe a crappie if I can get my hands on a small one. I would like a crawdad or two but in the past when I had them they always escaped my tank somehow. My wife will not tolerate craw dads loose in the house.

I friend of mine had a new pond dug last year and said it is loaded with small bass and bluegill 3-4 inches long. The other concern I have with this tank is keeping the water cool in the summer. If we use the AC and keep our house under 80 degrees will the water get any warmer then that or will it stay close to room temp
