Compatibility Question...

Hi everyone,
Siamese Algae Eaters and Endlers: Compatible or not? I'm worried about them being tasty treats for the SAEs. Also, my tank is not live planted, (I'm an artificial kinda girl) and I'm wondering if this is okay for Endlers?
I'm expecting a package in the mail of my new "kids" on Tuesday! There should be 3 pairs of near adult Black Bar Endlers, hopefully with absolutely no DOAs. I've heard a mix of different opinions about SAE's and Endlers-hoping someone has some experience. If there could be problems, I do have another 20g that I could put these guys in but would rather have them in the community.
Thank you to anyone who responds, it's kind of worrying me
and I don't want to be an accomplice to homicide!
Melissa

BTW-the SAE's are confirmed, for sure, the real McCoys just in case you're wondering. I know they can be mistaken with the Flying Fox.

IMO, the SAE's wouldn't go well with the Endlers and they should be kept in groups.

Endlers should be fine in an artificial planted tank. Wait for some members with more experience on that one to help you out

EDIT: The SAE's could go well with some Corycats, or even some tetras like Rummynose or Lemon tetra. Danios would look nice too Keep us posted.

In my experience SAE can sometimes get sometimes aggressive when kept with cory cats but thats IMO

Well SAE can get a little nippy and aggressive. You could perhaps keep them together if you have alot of plants (artificial or real), hiding spots, and etc. This could give the fish a hiding spot. I would try to put them together but I would observe. Basically trial and error. It depends on the fish if they want to get along or not. Just make sure you have a good amount of hiding spots to allow the fish to hide in if it was being attacked. Hope this helps and keep us updated!
