Went on Craigslist and purchsed another tank this weekend. A 60 gallon tank (30x18x24) for $120 including gravel, lights, heater, and the best part a Fluval canister filter.

Now for the hard part what kind of tank. The other tank is straight up community.

Suggestions..............

Hello Thanson and congrats on the new tank! How about a single species tank? A large school of Cardinal Tetras would look great! Maybe a few Cory Cats for the bottom. Lots of plants.
Keep us posted on your progress.

How about a loach tank (you knew that was coming didn't you Ken)
Pool Filter Sand or small smooth pea gravel substrate, lots of rock caves, drift wood. Plants attached to rocks and wood.
4-5 Kuhli Loaches, 3-4 Yoyo loaches(Botia almorhae), 3-4 Zebra loaches(Botia striata), 8-10 Dwarf chain Loaches ( yasuhikotakia sidthimunki)
Then a school of fast moving surface fish. danios come in a wide variety of sizes colors and are an excellent choice for loach tanks.(I have no clue why my computer just started italicizing everything LOL)

I think a Barb tank with Cories would be fun. I think I Might have to look into that, a Loach tank would look coll too but I like my snails and they are tough on the snail population.

Keep the ideas coming.
