A turkey Baster is a good idea right now so you can easily suck food and poo off the bottom, what type of breeder box/net are they in? With my old box it had slits in the side so if I was lazy I would just take the turkey baster and fill it with water then blow it real fast into the box stirring up food poop and that would just go right out the sides

they arent. i got the fish yesterday and i knew the females were pregnant but i didnt plan on moving anyone until the next day because i didnt know the babies were so close. im not even sure who the mom is. i put up a separater on the end of the tank with the heater in it. this way, big fishies dont eat them, they have space, and no filter sucking them in. they have a snail with them ! i cleaned the water and it looks a lot better. the snail is doing a good job of controlling the waste on the ground. i fed the babies a little bit, but again this left a little cloud on the surface. will this happen at every feeding? how can i stop it?

also, after i changed the water, one of the females hes been super hyper and racing up and down the walls. teh rest of the fish seem fine but shes zipping everywhere. is she scared or is something wrong with my water? if its the water then why arent the others doing it too?

hey, a little thing arose. my fry have little white or light colored splotches on their tails. are they sick or is their color coming out? they are onnly 3 days old...
