how much would you pay for a 75 gal tank

I found this tank and the guy wants $250, it includes:
75G All glass aquarium
Fresh paint oak stand
48" Light
500 GPH filter
Glass Hood
300w Heater
Cleaning Tube
Air pump
Is that too much?

Thanks much

I'd offer $200, if he wants to get rid of it, he'll take it.

personally i wouldnt do it. i have seen much larger setups for that price.

the main reason i wouldnt do it is i put no faith in 2nd hand filters and heaters. i would feel the need to replace them from the get go. another reason i wouldnt is because the stand doesnt match the tank trim, sorry im picky.

That is a great price! But if you don't mind waiting you could could probably get even better. I got my 80g for 140 and it came with everything - a stand

Thanks so much, after reading your post, I thought hey I feel the exact same way. Especially about the tank trim not matching. So I decided to wait.

He initially wanted $300, I offered $200 and he counter offered $250. I feel the same way, if he really wanted to get rid of it, he would take the $200

So true indeed as I am supposed to pick up a 72 gallon bow front with everything, stand and all, for $145 on Saturday. Hopefully as long as the deal does not fall thru.
