Hi, cories do not tolerate salt. What is stressing your fish?

No salt! Salt is mainly used for external parasites and only on those with scales. Look first for the cause then you'll find the cure. What all you got in your tank? Do you have plenty of hiding spots for them?

Agreed. Cories will not tolerate salt, and neon tetras (presuming this is the 10g listed in your aquarium info) would prefer not to have salt.
As MizRamzi said, finding the cause of the stress will allow you to fix it more effectively.

I agree 100% with everyone else. Salt are not good for Cories. Firstly, what is the problem? We can help you to find a cure without using salt. Keep us posted.

I noticed that you have ammonia of 1; ammonia should be 0. Your tank is awfully overstocked. You may want to complete 50% water change asap (don't forget the water purifier). If your fish seem stressed/sick I'd wager they are suffering ammonia poisoning. You're gonna want to do 30-50% water changes every day until you thin out the fish in that tank. I doubt it will complete the nitrogen cycle with that many fish.

If you get yourself a nice little piece of drift wood, maybe with some java moss on it that would do more for your tank as far as pH is concidered then what your using. Your fish would love it too! im going to respectfully disagree..if there is ammonia, you DO need prime or amquel+ ...it will detoxify the ammonia/nitrites for 24 hours but still keep it available for the cycle process.....daily 30-40% water changes are needed with that prime..then I think the OP will see much less stressful fish...the only thing salt does is irritate the fish and make them overproduce slime coat IMO....good luck!

Hmmmm, I must have been reading another thread cause I see no where in this one where my answer would even apply. Unless I'm blind I see no reference to Seachem Prime except for mine.
