My endler popultion is seriously out of control, everywhere I look I see fry swimming. The buggers are impossible to catch - especially in a heavily planted tank. So since the few I have caught, my puffer has ignores them. What I'm looking for is a fish I could add to my tank to keep the Endler population in check (heck he could eat them all if he wants). The tank is a 30g and I can't find anyone to take Endlers off my hands.

I have a few extra Akysis catfish that would do the job nicely. They only grow to 2.5", not large enough to eat adults, but I have seen the Endler's fry disappear since I dropped 5 of them into their tank. (I have 9 more in another tank w/out Endler's.)
Here's a couple pics of them. They look something like Asian bumblebee catfish, but aren't strictly nocturnal or shy. The ramshorn snail in the first pic is about the size of a small pea.

Neons will also eat them...almost any of the tetras will do the job.

Btw you might want to think about a female betta. It is so cool to watch mine stalk the little fry then pounce in the, I have had a big decrease in fry since I added her

almost every fish thats an omnivore thats got a mouth big enough to fit an endler fry in will eat them

I have never seen an endler anywhere around here. I wish they sold them here as I would love to have them. Good Luck

I take mine to the LFS and they give me .50 a piece in credit. Which feeds my other fishes and whatever else I may need.
It only took a week for them to run out. People looking for em every where!

Get a couple Tiger Barbs. They will clean them out in a day. Also I'll take a bunch of you elders. If your interested in getting rid of them PM me.

I also have been wanting endlers. That was the first fish on my list when we set up our tank, but no were around here sells them. The fish store here says that there isnt a high enough demand for them (here).

I suggest putting them on craigs list or shipping them off to new homes as you see alot of people want them :P
