Hello, my name is kirsten and i am new to Fishlore, i used to be on another forum jhowever they were very clicky and wouldnt answer my posts or questions because i wasnt one of them!!! drove me nuts!! Hope you guys will teach me lots and i can teach some others what little i do know!!  |

| of you guys... shucks...thanks for the warm welcome! i cant tell you how much better i feel in here then the last forum! i did a similar post and nobody replied... im serious...nobody!! i have only been on here like 3 days i guess and i have learned so much already!! im sure i will ask my fair share of stupid questions...lol heres my first...
I need to know why my test kit for hardness seems all messed up... its the API liquid kit. The test say the water in the test tube should turn from orange to green... the additive liquid however is green to begin with... i dont get it how can it turn from orange to green if it is already green... am i missing something?? hahaha | |

I have the NUtrafin test kit and it does the same thing lol! the drops are yellow but once you add it to the water it turns blue. Then the directions ( on mine) tell you to add drops untill it turns the shade of yellow on the card... | |

| oh ok that makes a little more sense ill give it another go, but mine has no card it has a chart and you count the drops it takes to change the colour of the test water then that tells you the measurement. i might look at getting one of those electronic test probes... anyone used one of those?? good? bad? | |
