Female or Bloat

My fish seem to be swimming just fine but there is one that seems to be quite the little porker. I clean the tank weekly (they are in a 10 gallon), ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates < 5ppm. So I know that is not the issue and I only feed them little bits twice a day.

Everything I have read says that the females tend to look much fatter than the males but this is my first time owning white cloud minnows and I trying to find out if it is just a female or if maybe it has bloat.

Welcome to FishLore
I don't know about White Cloud Minnows, but a couple of questions might help the other members help you.
How many and what kind of fish are in the tank?
Is your fish eating? Pooing? Any other symptoms?
Is she acting normally?

If it's constipation you can feed tiny bits of thawed frozen shelled pea cut about the size of their eye.
That should help get things moving.
If she is holding eggs, the peas won't hurt her.

I hope someone can help you further. Good luck

She swims around the tank just fine and is always up at the top of the tank for feeding time, that is why I wondering about her getting porky. She swims near the current generated by the filter a lot but then they all do. They seem to enjoy it.

The only other fish in the tank are 2 other white cloud minnows which I believe to be males, seem a bit aggressive with eachother. Might try to get a couple more females to even things out. Far as I can tell there is no end to the... droppings

I'll try feeding bits of peas. Can't hurt and they may end up enjoying them as treats.

All my fish go crazy for peas. lol I like to give them once a week as a treat.
Many fish do better with more female than males. It cuts down on the males harassing the female.
Good luck and keep us informed.

Thank you for the suggestion. She is still definitely a she as there is the curved rather than the streamlined belly. But the slight bloating I saw has gone down completely
