bubbles

as a matter of interest why do my bristlenose love to park themselves upside down in the stream of bubbles from my airation stone?
they dont do it oftain but they can spend hours there

huh, thats funny, mabey they like the current across there body, or mabey it cleans them idk, sounds wierd.

well i use two air stones a 6 inch air curtain one and a standard stone so there is plenty of oxegen getting into the water and its only my bristle nose that "park" in the bubble stream my guppies never do ( not that ive seen)

both my plecos do that on occassion. he just hangs out there. I have no idea why either....... : )

Every once in a while, one of my Peppered Corys will go over to the bubble wand and just float up to the top with the bubbles, swim down and do it again and again.

No idea why he does it, but it is fun to watch........

the albino BN was actualy parked on the airstone itself today. I kept watching to see if she got blown up by a air bubble... but she didnt

My panda cories do this too. Sometimes it's their whole body or they'll just stick their tail fin in and sit there. I think it's like a spa treatment for them.

well, i found my clown plec today, in the wreaked fishing boat ornament i have in my tank, you see, i have a bubble stone undereneath the ship and he was parked right above it, with his tail sticking out of the front window...lol, letting the current rush around his body... so i guess all plecs must like doin this, i didnt get a pic but i will be ready next time
