Fish suitable for warm tank, 82 F?

My tank , 29 gallon planted, stays around 82 F. Also the water is very soft and alkaline. What kind of fish, which school, would be suitable for these parameters.

My tank maintains 82f and I keep guppys, platys, and corys and they don't seem I have any problems. I seem to have a little bit of trouble with gouramis at that temperure

Hi Carolina
any of the tetras are a good choice for warmer water. I would forget things like the catfish or sharks IMO they prefer a cooler temp.
A lot of SA fish will like that 82* water too. Guess it depends on the size of your tank?

It sounds like the perfect environment for Discus.

Only 3 Rainbow. Do they school?

I just got 2 Dwarf Rainbows. They were sold at Pet Supermarket as Rummynose Tetra. I just took them out of the 10 gallon quarantine tank and put them in the 29 gallon planted tank. They seem a bit lost. I thought maybe it is because they need more fish to school with.

Boy, I wish I could give you a good answer. My three don't seem to really hang out together that closely. But they may if I had a larger school. I had origionally wanted to get 5, but realized that my 36 just wouldn't be large enough.
