I see on Aquabid that some of the bettas are designated as "alien" or "dragon." I've figured out the whole halfmoon and over-halfmoon thing, but what makes a betta an alien or a dragon?

I think a lot of it is just what the particular breeder calls the coloring. Dragon, in my experience, generally refers to a white bodied betta with different color fins.

Never heard of Alien Betta, but Dragons are betta's with heavy scales that look like a dragon's (if they existed)

Yup, googled Aliens and nothing came up, dragons are heavy bodied I think, but very pretty

Aliens are marbles.....Dragons have heavy scales on the body....
