In that case, I'd suggest a 120 gallon tank or so.

welcome to the forum. please take the advice you are receiving here. there are many many experienced fish keepers on this forum that will offer you wonderful advice and help.
you need to learn about the nitrogen cycle, it may seem complicated, but even at 13 you can understand it. my 11 yr old son follows my fishkeeping and has learned about it. you can too!
there are step by step instructions out there on how to do water changes as well. you need to do them every week or so to keep your fish happy and healthy. Ask your parents if they will help you buy a gravel vac and a test kit so that you can test your ammonia levels.

Bala sharks are not suitable for a 30 gallon, so IMO that's not a good option.

Because they're super cute and cool looking and the store doesn't bother to tell people what they really need to thrive.

Her name is ABCDemily, so lets not be rude by calling her 'whatever'.
She took the time to try and help you.
Even though your friend is not keeping their fish in a tank that's suitable for them doesn't make it right.

We know you love your fish, otherwise you wouldn't be here asking for help.
When we love something very much sometimes we have to make the decisions that's in their best interest even though we don't want to.
It's very hard, but the right choice to take them back. When you do, know in your heart that you've made a very unselfish and wise decision.
