Ok, all the pet shops where i live are all closed untill tomorrow now so i will have to go and see if they have any on my lunch tomorow. Is it fin rot he has? Will he still be able to swim if he loses it before i can get the breeder trap?

You can also use a small clean (never seen soap) strainer or colander to separate the injured fish in the same tank. Since he'll be spending quite some time in there, the larger the better, to avoid adding more stress.

He looks like he has a bit of fin rot. As others have suggested, you should keep the water as clean as possible to help the fish fight off the infection. If the fin rot progresses further toward the body, you might have to consider antibiotics.

Sending out lots of good vibes and wishes to Tac. He is a lovely color, what a cute face too!

I've had the experience of my male guppies eating the fins off of another male guppy (he ended up dying) because they formed a gang of sorts. Male Guppies have posed the biggest problem with bullying in my tanks...

Oh Kay, I am so sorry about your little guy, I know he meant a lot to you. I hope I helped with him, good luck with the other two Kay.

Personally, I wouldn't add a third guppy for a while, just see how these two are doing for the moment.

RIP little buddy
