Hey all,

So I now have 3 dalmation lyretail mollies 2 female and 1 male. A couple days after getting them, I was looking at my tank and there were 12 babies! I'm thinking a female was pregnant at the store.

Since I've first discovered them a week ago, I can easily tell they are getting bigger. At least 8 are more white-ish, with 4 being quite dark.

Now I don't really want to have 15 mollies, and to be quite honest I don't have any idea what to do with them. Whats the best procedure to handle them? I know my LPS doesn't have a buy back program.

Congratulations on the molly fry!

Maybe some of your friends or neighbors would want them? If not, maybe you could put an ad in the local newspaper to find them good homes.
