Help! please

I came home after an outing when i noticed my smallest female Zebra danio stuck between the plastic part of my breeder net and the glass wall. I quickly let it out. Eeny had bruises on the lower parts of her body and she's swimming funny. I was gone for 3+ hours and I don't know how long she was there. Any help?

can you catch her and put her in a breeder box? that way no one picks on her and she can rest..other than prestine water, maybe a couple drops of fresh garlic juice and some fish protector, and hopefully she will be ok !!!!

Poor thing.

Until a more knowledgeable member comes along with an answer, the best I can suggest is to keep her water clean and to treat her with VitaChem.

Hang in there, I'm sure someone will be along shortly with more advice.

I have to agree with pristine water, few drops of garlic juice, and add something for stress/slime coating and separation for a couple of days. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Actually, I don't have a spare tank. My breeder net is full of tiny little baby mollies less than 2 weeks old. Will the garlic juice or pristine water hurt the other fish? I'll put in some of my water helping tablets with stress coat. I don't have garlic jiuce though and what's "pristine water" Also, I'll taest the water to make sure it's comfy.

Pristine...keep your water as clean as you can The garlic juice is great for fish. If you have some in your refrigerator would be good. Just a couple of drops. You can even add it to their food as an enhancer. Keep us posted

as aquarist said, all that will be fine for all your fish..but I dont know what "water helping tablets" are? the only thing about putting this girlie in a net, is if she is weak, she will be picked on and stressed fish, bring ICH among other things

they're tablets that protect the fish's slime coats and treat the water for anything so it stays clean. Sorry, sometimes I foget to desribe things better.

She's chasing and scaring the babies . . . i take that as a good thing. I only have minced garlic, though. Also, i moved her in a cup while the others were feeding, so she wasn't stessed as much as if i had mover her in a net.

Is it minced garlic in a jar with juice? Or are you talking about dry minced garlic?
