is my molly expecting (photo's inc!)

Hello,
I'm new to keeping fish and would love any advice/help people are willing to give.

A few weeks ago I bought a 20litre glass tank with heater, filter and accessories etc for my daughter's birthday, as it was something she really wanted. After doing much research, we set it up acordingly and left it for about 3 weeks before adding any fish. Last week we took her to choose the fish she wanted and she decided she would like a something-or-another catfish (can't remember what it was called but it's an alge eater) and 3 dalmation mollies. One is black with a few white markings and the other 2 are white with black spots. we have since learnt that the black molly is a male and the 2 white ones are female. For the past few days we have noticed one of our little lady's has had an increasing growing belly and as we are new to this we're not sure if shes just greedy or planning a little surprise of fry! She is very calm and laid back where as the other 2 swim right up to the glass when your near and go mad. i think they want feeding, lol

We feed them one pinch of tropical flakes twice a day. Could this be too much? (or not enough?)

I have added some photo's although their not very clear and would love to know whether or not we need to do anything if she is expecting.

Thanks for your time.

Welcome to Fish Lore! A good possibility that she is pregnant. My opinion she has a ways to go before giving birth. Most live bearers give birth about every 28 days. It can range from 20 to 40 days though. Best of luck.

She probably is, but she will get boxy are kinda square looking at the front of her stomach before she gives birth. My molly looks just like her and she gave birth to at least 10 or 12 fry today. She had some about a month ago, too.
