Hi, I'm new to this forum.

My dad gave me a 150gallon tank, yes a 150g not 150L and so far i have 4 gouramis.
2 pearl and 2 opaline.
I was wondering if i could add corydoras/plecos and even a school of tiger barb.

Thank for your answer and time.

Welcome to fishlore

Wow, a 150 gallon tank is going to be a lot of fun to stock! You could deffinetly add a large school of cories to the tank. Sterbai, Panda, Triliniatus, and Julie's are some of my favorite types of cories. You could also do a few medium sized plecos. I wouldn't go with a common pleco because they poop a lot, and will make a big mess in your tank. Tiger barbs would be fine as long as you don't plan on stocking any long finned fish. They tend to nip the fins of Angelfish and other similar fish. They will be fine with gouramis though. I would also check into Black Ruby Barbs and Odessa Barbs. They are really pretty as well. I would take your time stocking your tank and really think about what you want. You have lots of options Have fun!

Thanks! for helping me.
I have 2 anothers question

how do i sexe these fish?

the aquarist of my fishshop told me he couldn't because they are too young. Im scared that they are 4 males.

I have 12 stems of Slender-Leaved Elodea and 3 stems of Common Hornwort

what plant you would recommend for a around 26 degrees celcius aquarium

As for plants: You could keep most tropical plants at 26C (79F).

As for sexing gouramis, I have no idea how to do that until mating time.

I don't think that will be an issue between 4 fish in a 150G tank.

If you don't get the barbs, 6 angel fish would do very nicely in there.

For a "school" of fish, congo tetra would look awesome.

Definately get corydora. You could do a couple of groups of them, but get them in 6's of the same species.
They are so cute and will help keep the left over food eaten off of the tank floor.
Cories do best when not treated as scavengers. They need regular feeding too.

I agree, add the groups of fish slowly, with weeks between addtions, so the bacteria in the filter can grow and keep up.

That's about 78 degrees fahrenheit, just right! You lighting will be a big factor when choosing plants.

Is your tank 72" long x 18" deep x 28" tall? Tall tanks are a little more challenging, but still do-able.
Here is a link to a list of aquatic plants, maybe it will help:

Thanks ! I have a around 22'' tall tank to the water (i used a ruler so xP) and 26'' to the top. Today i brought, a school of 6 tiger barb and my dad added 2 rosie barb ( 1 male 1 female ). They seem to get along really good. The most shy of all these fish is the bigger ( the big female rosie barb ) is it normal? yes she eat but most of the time she goes behind plants and camoflage into that pink leaf plant :O.
