I'm wanting to spice up the diet for my fish.

Currently I'm just using Tetrafin Color Enhancing flakes, and some frozen Blood Worms.

I really want to start seeing the orange in my loaches, barbs, and shark. As well as keep life in the tank fun for them!

Whats some of the best neutrient rich flake food out there?

I honestly don't think any of the products that promote "color enhancing" work. But if there is, what is it?

I just want a nice, fun, well rounded diet for them.

Also, I only have room for one 48" long florescent light. Are these lights that say the promote fish colors any good? Or should I just stick with my standard bulb?

I feed my fish color enhancing flakes for breakfast everyday, and for dinner rotate between frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. I don't know of anything else that would help color them up (other than maybe live food).

The color enhancing lights are supposed to be of a wavelength that enhances the colors fish generally are, so while I haven't any experiance with them, I would think they would help.

Your fish will probably color up as the age also. Additionally, male fish when in the company of female fish of the same species seem to color up.
