This tank is 20G.. has 5 Danio's in it right now. A mass of Java moss just taking over and a lonely Bacopa.

I'm sure it's just diatoms that will go away with due time but I just wanna make sure.

Lighting is a single T8 at 6500K (no reflector).. and will be switching to dual T5s at 3000K currently (possible reflector). It will be a low light tank and probably will get higher color bulbs. Will that have an effect on it?

And another question. Lexan doesn't disrupt light at all right? I've heard some weird things about covering tanks. I'm building a custom tank hood and cabinet...

In your "aquarium info" box, your tank appears to be relatively new. I would expect that it's diatoms and will go away in time. This is really common in new tanks.
