Now lets answer your questions
Danios are a type of minnow(what other minnow were you thinking of?) and you can mix all different Danios together. They like a school of six or more.
Kuhli Loaches would be good in a tank that size also. They also need to be in groups. The more the merrier
I'm not sure about shrimp, I guess it depends on what kid you get. when I got ghost shrimp my kuhlis picked at them until they died then ate them.
Is your tank cycled? If so when you start adding fish add them slowly so the beneficial bacteria in the tank can keep up with the increased bioload.
