Little whitish red line

Hi Everyone,

My black moor has a White Reddish line on his tail for about six weeks, all water parameters are fine, and there has been nothing else on his tail.. just wondering what it could be.

He has been through a house move and then upgraded to a bigger tank, But his behavior has not changed and he just as lively as ever eating swimming no strange behavior at all for the past two months....

I have had him for eight months now, and have watched him got bigger, Its the longest I have ever kept a fish and I really dont want to loose him, but I have no idea if I should be concerned about this or not.

Thanks for your help

Kim

Do you have a photo, could be a parasite, could also be normal if its had it for that long a picture of it would help

It sounds like a vein, they often get more vivid when there is a lack of O2 in the water.

Going by what Amanda said, I'd invest in an airpump, some aquarium tubing and an airstone. This'll aerate the water and give them more oxygen. I'm sure he'll appreciate it
