do these exist?

when i bought one of my tanks with fish off ebay. it came with 3 balloon mollies a mum and 2 of the babies (there about 6 months old babies lol) any way one of the babies is still really tiny mayb 2.5-3cm long and its defo not growing any more. i was wondering if dwarf mollies existed at all? or is what i have really rare?

Yes they do exist. You might have one, or yours could just be stunted from being kept in a tiny tank before you got it.

its always been in the tank that i have now. i never knew they existed how easy are they to get hold off? i think mine is most likely stunted he seems happy enough though .

also do they look the same as big mollies or do they have different characteristics?

From my experience breeding mollies in the last year, I would say the fish is stunted. They are sensitive to water quality as they grow the first few months and need fresh water a couple times a week.
