guys, what live food do u feed ur small fish? also once u buy them from LFS where do u store them and how much do u feed them? if live food is uneaten will that be a problem?? or they start their own colony and become a pest problem??

In summer times I put out a bucket of water (away from the house) and watch the Mosquitoes do their thing. I take a small net, scoop up some larva and ta da fish feeding frenzy.
I'll also hatch some baby brine in my fridge. You really don't need to worry about left overs of either one. Fishes love live food, they'll eat all day.
Depending on the size of the fish I also get some small earth worms, or even night crawlers. I have several tanks, small fish and large fish. Everyone eats!!!

I feed earthworms, mosquitos, and although not live fresh squid and shrimp. All my fish love fresh/live food. Meal worms and crickets also are a big hit depending on the size of the fish! There are some really good recipes on the forum (Shawnie I think...) for food you can make yourself. Flakes/pellets every for fish is like pizza everyday for us (heard that somewhere...)
