Ok so I started cycling my tank last week with TSS and 3 cories. Here are my readings since then.

I know you get crazy readings with TSS, but im not, so I do not know if it is working correctly.

Wed:
0-0-0

Thurs:
0-0-0

Friday:
0-0-0

Sat:
.5-0-0

Sunday:
1.5-0-0

Monday:
1.5-0-0

Tuesday:
ammonia: .5-1
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 0-5

The pH is 8 and the temperature is 79F. Is it working correctly or was the bottle bad?

You will get some crazy readings some times. T he most important thing to do is be patient. Dont do water changes dont use any conditioners nothing. my aquarium took 13 days to cycle. on the 13th day I got test redings of 0-0-5. Pm me on day 10 with your test results and I can give you suggestions on what to do. Hope this helps Good luck

No dont add anything right now....and once you are cycled, you DO NOT add anything for at least a week or two..you need a stable cycle for that long before upping the bio load or you take a chance of it crashing...u are on track
