Question: what type of fish should I get next?

Hello!

i have a 10g tank set up and I have 3platties, 2 guppies and 3neon tetras
my tank is looking a little empty (in my opinion)
I was thinking of getting 2more small fish
or 1 average sized one
but i'm not sure which kind
suggestions please?

How about 3 otocinclus? They're adorable.

3 Platies x 2 inches = 6 inches
2 Guppies x 2 inches = 4 inches
3 Neon Tetras x 1.5 inches = 4.5 inches

6 + 4 + 4.5= 14.5 inches

14.5/10

According to the one inch per gallon rule your slightly overstocked right now. I would try to avoid getting more fish or get 3 more neon tetras to keep them schooling.

I'd go with the neons. Make sure you stay on top of your water changes

Yeah you're overstocked, I wouldn't get anymore for now.

It may look empty, but actually you are pretty full

You could always upgrade to a bigger tank (LOL)...think of the possibilities!
