30g Test: AquaClear 30 vs. Penguin 150 Bio-Wheel

Which one do you choose...

* AquaClear 30=$29.99
* Penhuin 150=$26.99

I have a dated fluval 403 to get running again.. but just in case I want a cycler/backup HOB for emergencies... Trying to get a user opinions.

Aquaclear for sure... but the Fluval 403 is by far the best choice.

I ended up with an aquaclear when I bought my 29g from someone. I put it on my 36g tank along with an eheim ecco. ITs made a huge diference with the water clarity compared to the biowheel.
The biowheel is doing great on my 29g though. I am planning to get an eheim ecco for it as well. (I love the two filters on my tanks it really helps)

IME a Penguin 150 is too small for 30 gln. I have a 200 on my 20 and I love the way it works now that I solved the wheel spinning issue.

The AquaClear would be my choice.

Aqua Clear. So much room compared to other filters I've used for good bio media.

wow...

that is filtration...

i May lean towards upgrading to a AC 50 and bypass the 30. Thx for all the input guys/gals..

Now just need to find an affordable one while I put this 403 together.. I just got an AC 70 power head so I am itching to get it rolling..
