75 gallon stocking options

I know there are tons of possibilities for this size of tank......... I've recently become rather bored with my current 75 gallon setup that has to large pieces of driftwood, real plants and the following fish:

1 royal panaque pleco maybe 3-4 inches
1 sunset dwarf gourami
7 cherry barbs
11 black neons
6 cardinal tetras

What kind and how many fish could I put into the tank to spice it up a bit?

Have you considered a pair or harem (depending on species) of apistogramma? They have a lot of personality and their interactions are quite fascinating.

Maybe another school of tetras?
Keep in mind that they pleco does get rather large, if I'm not mistaken.
So that does limit your stocking options.

I've also read that the pleco could possibly grow to get quite large, but i have asked around at local pet stores and no one has ever seen them get much over 8 inches. So I've been told.

Never thought about apistos for a community tank. That'd be cool!

a pair of apistos would be great, or a pair of german blue or bolivian rams. you could also add pretty much any livebearers (platies, mollies, guppies, swordatils, but i'd suggest all males to prevent lots and lots of fry). were you looking for large, small, or medium sized fish? more schoolers, a pair, or a single fish?

Not really sure what I want at the moment. I guess I'll know when it hits me.

The GBR's would be cool!
