tell tale signs of aggresion death??

are there any tell tale signs of aggression death?

i have 6 rasboras...well...had. now i have 5. 2 small angels, 1 cory, 1 oto, 3 glolite tetras, and 3 ghost shrimp.

just checked my levels. ammo and ites are 0. ates is less than 20. probably around 15.

have had a pearl gourami and now a rasbora on the filter tube. kinda shredded fins, but that could be from other fish post mortem. or the ghosts.

all fine when i left today around noon. dead and discolored when i got home just now.

i've been observing the tank to make sure the angels aren't aggressive towards my others, and they aren't. i watch from afar, so they aren't distracted by me being there and begging for food.

i've had angels spawn before, back in earlier fishkeeping times. and i kinda remember how they get when they pick out a spawn spot, but these don't act like that. they move freely thru the tank and don't really care where the other fish are.

just wonder if them being on the filter tube is an indication if they died suddenly or something. cause usually my sick fish die and lay on the bottom. both this rasbora and the pearl have ended up in the same way. and with no signs of being sick. pearl died about 2 days earlier.

think the angels might move to the 41 and maybe put the gouramis or at least the blue one....who gets freaked out and tends to dart around the tank alot, only a matter of time before he takes a carpet dive i assume....into the 29 gal.

opinions or advice is greatly appreciated.

How strong is the filter intake? It may be sucking fish into it also.

The most obvious would be wounds on the body.
If they've been harrassed enough, stress could weaken them. You may not see any wounds.
A weak fish could easily get stuck on the filter intake.

wow...that was fast. thanks ladies!

ok, the filter is just a aquaclear for 30 gal. but the fish wasn't weak. he was totally normal when i left.

and yeah, i can't really see any DEFINITIVE wounds. well maybe i'll just move some fish around today.

maybe something like...

29 Gallon
Blue Gourami
3 Glowlites
3 Otos
1 Cory
5 Rasboras

41 Gallon
Gold Gourami
6 Blue Tetras
3 Angels
1 Farlowella
2 Killifish

The first one looks good to me, although otos do better in groups.
I don't know enough some of the second stock to comment.
