penguin tetras chasing chain loach?

has anyone ever heard of penguin tetras chasing chain loach? i dont think there trying to hurt it, its about the same size as they are. any thoughtS?

I see you have only 2 tets - when in small numbers tgetras get stessed and start nipping. I recomend moving them to the 27gal and getting 4 more so they haqve a school. Also, I'd move some other fish from the 17gal to the 27gal, as the 27gal is massivly understocked and the 17gal is overstocked.

Maybe they are trying to school together If no damage is being done I wouldn't worry about it.

well they are all the same size they dont look like there being aggressive there just swimming about together then the loach stops to eat/clean then hes off again.

The loaches are also more happy with others of their kind but I don't see that you have room for more fish

yeah i read somewhere that they do like other fish with them but that can happily live with them self. he always hangs around the corys to. is it true that tetras can shoal with other similar tetras?

Only for Cardinals and Neons as far as I know - you can have a mixed school of Cardinals and neons but I'm pretty sure no other tetras will school with other species.
