New fish suggestions

I have my new 100L fish tank cycled for a week now and want some fish.
This tank is in the lounge and my dad wants colourful, cheap and hardy fish. What do you suggest and how many of each? I was thinking of mollies or perhaps lyretail sword fish.

As far as cheap & hardy - Rosy Reds are the way to go. I have 2 in my 55, SUPER active, and they turn a gorgeous pink color when kept in the correct conditions.
Mollies, swords, guppies, and platys are hardy fish also. Just keep in mind that if you have both m/f they WILL breed.

rosy reds are great..... i like tiger barbs as well..... not the most color, but love the personality of a confident school of em.... they are a bit aggresive at times though.....

I also recommend Australian Rainbows. Rainbows are really colorful and you can put a wide variety of them. They also like plants.

Guppies are brilliant! Remember the 1:3 male to female ratio, if you do choose them.
Platies are great, however the same rule does apply.
Glowlight tetras are brilliantly hardy, and work very well in shoals.
Good luck!
