my female endler has been pregnant for about 4 weeks and is huge i noticed earlier today one baby one swimming about is it normal to just have 1 baby? whats happened with the rest in her?

She may have just given birth to one or two but she will probably give birth to more later. If shes not in a seperate tank or breeder box sme of the fish could ate a few fry. Is this the first time she is pregnant? As some first timers only give birth to about 10-20.

i believe it is but may be wrong. i dont think any of the fish in the tank shes in would have eaten them unless the fry decided to swim to the bottom the baby was alot bigger than id expected to! ---- about that long i guess from head to tail!

ok lily my female endler has just had the rest of her fry. i have counted around about 20 is that a lot? she was huge. 2 questions why would max my first fry have been born a week earlier than the rest? and will all the fry look the same when they have grown up? (with the exception of female & male looking different)

Max may have been born earlier as a premature birth, and all the fry will be the same when they grow up.
