so i popped into petland today. i dont ordinarily shop there but its like the walmart of the petworld to me. always seems to be something i 'need' to go in for that i cant get anywhere else.
anyways, i want a banana plant for my new 25g tank. the plants at the petlands here are usually rotting in the tanks, its horrible. i managed to find a scraggly clinging to life banana plant there once, so i thought i will try again.
well wouldnt you know, i walked to the fish section and there before me, laying out on the floor, a styrofoam cooler, packed with FRESH PLANTS. they arrived not 10 minutes before.
the guy working kind of knows me due to my
MTS and let me dive into the box and forage. all the plants were pristine, perfect, i was in plant heaven!!
i had such a hard time deciding. ended up with some giant hairgrass and melon sword which i havent seen ANYWHERE around here before as well as some microsword and green wendtii.
ive got them all into the 25 tall and it looks awesome. pictures to follow!!
