HEY! Welcome to Fishlore. Your info says the tank is 20., Is it 10?
What do you have in it now? Plants/real/fake? driftwood, waht do you have for substrate. Do you ahve the same fish as listed in your info?

Sorry about your goldfish, they are a gorgeous fish.
You have no substrate (gravel or sand or the like)?
Can you post a pic of what your tank looks like now?

Welcome to Fishlore Luis!

My first tank was a 10gal. Still running it. Small tanks are a challenge. Thanks for pleasing Berth1965 (and me too) by uploading pics. Ton of help is sure to be found in this great forum.

Which Tetra species are you keeping? I like the way you arranged the branches and the stones in there.

Hi Luis, welcome to the fourm ! Sorry about the loss of your golffish.

I think your tank decorations look good.

I really must point out though, that goldfish need 20 gallons per goldfish. They grow too big for a 10-gallon tank, and are big waste producers.

Is there anyway you can upgrade to a 20gallon tank. If not, may I suggest you take the goldfish back to the store, in exchange for maybe another tetra, it would be the best thing for the fish, because honestly he won't be happy in a 10gallon.

Tell us more about your tank Luis . How long have you have it up and running ?

I notice your aquarium info says you don't know about the nitrogen cycle, take the time to read the articles linked in this thread READ FIRST: Freshwater Beginner Important Topics it should help a lot, and may explain why you have been losing fish.

One more thing.. I can't see any filter in your pics, Do you have a filtration system?!

Sorry if I am just missing it, but it is the most vital part of your aquarium and I just want to make sure. Keep coming back to fishlore anytime you have problems and everyone here will be sure to help you out quickly. Good Luck on your redecoration! I always just move stuff around 100 times till it works out haha

Keep an eye on those Tiger Barbs. They tend to be a bit nippy with other fish and it is generally recommended to keep them in groups of at least five to help stop aggression. But Danio's are pretty quick and agile, so they might be able to hold their own.
