The Nitrogen Cycle

i want to know if people know about the nitrogen cycle when they begin there home aquarium. Just answer to the poll. If you dont' know of the cycle post your questions in this forum and i will answer them. The purpose of this thread is for you to understand why your fish are dying after a week of purchase

hi 11yancazosj ...you can click on a members name and its listed under their profile if they know or not about the nitrogen cycle (that is if people fill it in ) and there are plenty of members willing to help all types of questions, including the nitrogen cycle...theres no poll needed for that

For some reason the poll gives the impression that its not exclusive but inclusive - ie you can vote for more than one.

That said, there's a poll right on the nitrogen cycle page which asks (almost) that.

As Shawnie said, this question is answered in the information under the users name.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is, as the whole purpose of the forum is for members to help people and share their experience with fish.
There are various sub-forums any thing from beginners to disease to the nitrogen cycle.

I'd also add that there could be other reasons why fish die within a week, not every death has to do with the nitrogen cycle.

There's no reason to delete the thread if you're curious to find out how many members know about the nitrogen cycle.

No one random is telling you how to do things. Just pointing out that when beginners have questions or problems, they can be addressed individually in that members thread.

Look Here Yanca Shawnie is one of our most valued forum members and you will become one to but only if you accept other peoples opinions.

Trust me i have learnt the hard way just like you and i regret every second of it and hopefully i am now a better and more appreciated/valued forum member

Just chill out and relax and take in everyones opinions because that is how we all learn

I hope this helped you

Feel free to ask me any questions or tell me anything

i dont want you to feel like you are being flamed, but you say you dont want a random person helping you, but arent you a random person to everybody else?

i love random people telling me their opinions, it opens up the mind to other ideas

i neva said i want a random telling me what to do. All im saying is i had a reason for this thread and instead of going through everyones profiles one by one checking to see if they knew about the nitrogen cycle. Thats why i set up a poll. an alternative way of finding it out with easier results. and if people had problems, they can post it into the forum. No offense, but does that seem reasonable. Dont take this the wrong way, im one of those people who doesnt like being told what to do. soz.

I understand that the only way to delete a thread is to get a Moderator to do it for you. Cheers,

Need to get the attention of a Moderator. Most are not logged on now.

Best way is to start a new thread in 'How Do I' section on how to remove a thread, I'm sure a Mod will spot it and reply.
