Hey! So I'm new in the whole
freshwater fish keeping and upon looking through this website, I feel this is the place I should visit for information. I only have a small question to begin with though.
I used to keep Tarantulas (very different, I know), and there was a book considered amongst all keepers as the "bible" of Tarantula keeping (and it sure is!), and basically, I am wondering if there is such a book for freshwater fish. I know that we can learn a lot from these kind of books and think it would be a good start to have a reading before actually going all out with the fish, just to get to know them better and probably as something to pass the time during the cycle when I start it.
I've tried searching through the forums and red the book reviews, but I'd like an approach as to what people consider like the must-own books/guides for this hobby instead of basing myself off of reviews (honestly, they make me want to buy each book, but then that'd be a lot of books ;p). I am not yet searching for species specific books, but more a general topic on the subject, as informational as it can be.
Thanks for any replies, and if I missed a topic in the forums that already answers it, or if I did not post this in the right section, please let me know, I'm not yet used to this forum :]
