Possible Injury?

Well I was looking in the tank tonight. Gizmo (girl) has a small section of scales falling off. Right now it kinda looks like an extra fin-its just hanging there. Iit is pretty small I would guess 2 or 3 scales. One of my swords likes to chase the others around the tank is it possiable she nipped at Gizmo. Gizmo is swimming fine and otherwise looks heathly.

By the way....Gizmo is a sword as well I failed to mention that

is your aquarium info still correct on your readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate etc?

pretty sure water values could not have done that. She has either been attacked or have cut herself on some sharp decoration or something like that.

true but that will leave her more prone to infection

Well the Scale fell off. Gizmo seems to se fine. Eating and swimming normally. Should I add some stress coat to the tank since she is more prone to infection?

Keeping the water pristine with some stress coat will help to prevent infection.

Alex had asked about your water parameters. A cycled tank would help a great deal.
