bumble bee goby question

i found someone who has bread them in fresh water for years instead of brackish do you think they would be ok in fresh water or only brackish? any opinions?

ok i worked it out there are 2 different types of bumblebee gobys!
Brachygobius xanthozona - brackish or freshwater
Brachygobius nunus - only brackish

does anyone no anyplace to get the xanthozona one at all?

Not sure. I know that a lot of places don't really know the difference. They sell "bumblebee gobies" without knowing what species they're carrying (the same with a lot of things... like snails).

yeah i heard the main difference is how clear there stripes are. think i may have to look into that one as the other type not only wont get on in fresh water but seems more aggressive than they lot on from what ive read!

Brachygobius xanthomelas
Brachygobius mekongensis

if any one has seen them in the shop and wouldnt mind getting them i will re-imburse and pay for shipping/postage if you are able to pack them? let me no please!
