Well it has gotten to that time. My dalmatian molly fry are about 3 months old now and have outgrown the breeder box and my 14 gallon tank infact. Its time for them to go out into the world.
I have a grand total of 37 alive from the original 50 or so that were born. I will be keeping 6 in my master tank (which brings my band up to 7 mollies, 5 danios, 1 platy, 1
CAE) and 3 have already been transferred to my grandparents 5 gallon tank. 4 will be going tommorow to a new home at a local car dealership in their show room tank. (Which is pretty massive!) And the rest will have to go to the pet store. Im just hoping that they get sold to a good home and not stuffed into the feeder tanks to be eaten. I tried to give some away to my friends but no one has a tank.
I wish I could keep all of them. I've grown very found of them and they are very affectionate. They always plow to the front of the breeder box whenever I come around because they think Im going to feed them. They have even gotten to the point where they will eat from my finger tip. However, I simply don't have the room for them. My tank is already over stocked. But I will risk the over crowding to keep the 6 I have chosen.
Out of all there were only 3 males, all the rest being female. There were 2 black mollies which didn't survive, and a couple of silver mollies (at least they haven't developed their spots yet.) All the rest are pure dalmatian. They have been fed a very well rounded diet. I powderized some of every thing I had, including flakes,
brine shrimp, algae wafers, shrimp pellets,
betta pellets, and blood worms.
They leave tommorow so I will try to get some video of them tonight. If I figure out how I will post it somewhere. I don't have a digital camera so I can' get pictures at all.
Its going to be sad sending them off

. They've been really fun to watch grow over the last few months. Hopefully they will all have a good home soon.
