Dear Bella..Im very sorry you had to experience that, and the last days with Peek I know he found comfort being with you. I know how much you cared and loved your little Peek. I hope that you can find some peace soon, and enjoy your other goldies. Bless you Bella, and find comfort from being a merciful and compassionate mom to Peek.

Hi Bella
I know how hard the decision was for you as its an almost impossible decision to truly have to make, I know, Ive had to do it too and bulked over and over at the end but knew in my heart that the fish had to be relieved of its pain and suffering. I know you did everything you can possibly have done for Peek and in the end you did again, everything possible to bring him peace, even at the expense of your own feelings about it.
Your love for Peek was quite apparent through out your ordeal with him.

If all fish (and any animal for that matter) had the love and compassion you gave your little boy, the world would be a much better place. I hope many of the newcomers to this site, read your full post. It will give them a better idea of what it truly means to be a responsible fish owner. Bella ((hugs)), I know you did every thing possible for Peek and because of that he probably lived longer then he would have if it were some one else caring for him. I hope you cherish the good times you had watching him grow, and know now that he isn't suffering any more.
