but what else you can do other than what jonah has said, is take off the filter in the
QT tank, and just run it on your main tank at all times...you get two bene's with that...1. extra filtration and 2. an immediate filter thats ready to be put on a qt tank anytime needed

...then just put away or empty the qt tank until needed
