Can I replace a DG with this. Are they about the same size? Smaller or Larger? Are they peaceful? Thanks Guys!

I just googled and found a few pages that all agree adult size = 2.5" so the same as DG. The first one I read called them peaceful, but males can be aggressive defending their brood--that's pretty much all gourami though.

I think the DG and H/S are probably interchangeable if you're still in the planning phase of your livestock.

I had the Honey sunset dwarf gourami's before and found them very peaceful and yes, they are smaller than the D.Gourami but they all should get along..

I have a honey sunset gourami, and they are smaller than a regular dwarf. They are peaceful with most fish except another male honey sunset. I have never attempted another dwarf with him, nor do I want to chance it. They will most likely not get along with other gouramis or bettas!

I never had any problems with my Honey's together, but didnt try mixing them with the Dwarf Gourami's tho.
