Trick to burying plants?

Is there a trick to burying plastic aqaurium plants, other thank to do it when there is so little water you can go it with your hand?

Or am I too worried about sticking my arm in the tank? I assume that will mess with the chemistry, but maybe not . . .

I don't think putting your hands in the tank messes with the chemistry. I should hope not, anyway, since I'm messing around in mine almost every day. I just make sure not to have any soap, lotions, hair product, etc. on them.

Yep just make sure your hands are clean then dive right in. I have my hands in the tank on a daily basis.

Just to state the obvious before there's any sort of massive accident. If you're goign to use the dish gloves make sure they're a NEW PAIR. Stuff which has already come into contact with soap is going to mess up your chemistry BIG TIME.
