Sad Day (Need A Replacement Fish)

Hey Guys,
The dalmatian molly died today. Thinking of a replacement (NO MOLLIES OR CATFISH!) I was thinking of a betta, a platy, or someother small peaceful fish. R.I.P Diedric

I think everyone is between work and home right now. I'm sorry about your fishie but I just keep one betta, so I have no good advice.

I would definately NOT! get a betta for your tank. They do not get along with the type of fish that you have in your tank. Platys are nice. or Neon tetras.

A Dwarf Gourami would be nice, and they sort of have the "betta" look. I have a DG in my 29g with my female mollies.

Sorry Chase, didn't see your post. Sometimes you have to be a bit patient.
I agree, no betta for the tank. Most Bettas don't do well in community tanks. You could wake up one day and find someone hurt or dead.

Not a Betta, as everyone has said. What about a Bolivian ram?

PS. just to make reading your aquarium info easier, I'd just list the species of fish, not the individual colour varietys. It can be a bit confusing trying to add together all the strains to see what numbers of that species people acctualy have.

Not allowed what? A DG? Are there certain fish you're allowed to have and not have?

Well We Got Soem Powder Blues And My First Mollies Like Attacked Them. I Do Wish I Could Get One THough. I Think I'll Ask about that. Then I just need one more barb to have a happy shoal. But i Mean the mollies were agressive to every fish i had in there so it shouldnt be a problem. KK heres the plan 1 molly 2 swordtails 1 DG 4 cherry barbs and 2 platys.? OSund good?

Sounds overstocked... I wouldn't include 1 of the large livebearers (Molly or sword) and DG, so not to overstock.
