Going to Vacation

I'm going on a vacation for 3 days (2 days and arrive on the third day probably at night) and I don't have a light timer (The thing that get your light on and off). Should I keep the lights off till I get back? I also have a window that can shine the sunlight which reflects on a picture frame that lead to the tank although it is not likely that it will be sunny here.

Well partner when I leave for a few days I leave a light on and a radio loud enough to hear it from the front door. Of course if you have mutual walls with a neighbor that might not work. Anyway leaving one florescent 14W screw in bulb on should serve both the fish (who really don't need it) and security purpose.
Oh by the way. May you have a pleasant and safe vacation, and may the good Lord watch over you and yours.

Well I live in a complex so no crime really goes on around here. Leave a garage open and nothing will get stolen! Anyways my aquarium only has one bulb (well not exactly a bulb)

and thanks for the prayer.

i'd leave the lights off and the shades open, believe me, your fish would definitely appreciate some sleep rather than 76 hours of sunlight!

have a safe vacation!

I'm at my hotel right now and it has free internet! I left the blinds a little open and didn't turn on the lights. Thanks for the help!

Have a wonderful safe trip. I agree, lights off was a good idea.

I'm back and the aquarium looks really clean and most of the algae is gone. No problem with my fish either.
