I've been put in charge of setting up the new zebrafish breeding/fry tanks in my lab. What we have so far is a large cabinet that houses 84 1L tanks. These fish condos as we call them, are all connected through a a central pipe.
Below the stand that this cabinet rests on, looks like I'll have room for a 55gal
sump. So thats about 80 gallons in total of water. I'm looking to add a
UV Sterilizer, mechanical filter and a biological filter. I'm not sure though what flow rates I should be aiming for. I would also need a strong enough pump to be able to carry the water up the cabinet (from where it trickles down), a height of around 4ft.
Oh, and for this task I was essentially given a catalouge and blank check.

And my assignment this week has been "go to all the local fish stores and check out some prices." LOL, like I don't do that anyway!
Any advice would be nice, I've never set anything up larger than a 29gal.
